What is a candy buffet?

A candy buffet is a whimsical presentation of candy and sweets that is designed to integrate the theme or color scheme of your event. Candy buffets offer a stunning setting and luscious decor for any occasion.

Why should I include a candy buffet at my event?

LOVE a good buffet? Candy buffets have hit the special events and wedding industry with a surge comparable to a bull in a china shop, they are popping up all over.

Gone are the days of Jordan almonds in organza bags. These days, brides are getting creative in providing guests with thank you favors. Who wants to spend all their time and money buying or making favors only to have them left sitting on the table at the end of the night. Guests feel like kids in a candy store when you provide them with a bag and a "help yourself" candy buffet. Its Fun & Practical!

Are Candy Buffet Bars a good idea for Weddings?

Yes! Did you know that "The Knot" has ranked candy buffets in their "Top 10 Reception Trends" for the past three years? Candy buffets are a fabulous way for guests to mingle with each other. They also eliminate the need for boring favor bags of almonds, candles, photo frames, etc. Not to mention the time it takes you and your bridesmaids to fill those candy bags. Instead, watch your guests go crazy stuffing their treat bags with their favorite sweets! It is the element of your wedding or party guests will be talking about long after the event is over.

Can I do this myself?

Most people who have decided this is something they could do on there own soon end up realizing that they were spending the same amount if not more than if they had hired a professional. Consider this, if you were to create your own candy buffet table that will wow your guests, you will need to purchase unique specialty glassware (at least 15 pieces), table accessories to make your table display look attractive, signage, ribbons, candy scoops/spoons/tongs, bags, containers and bubble/packaging materials to store and transport your items that you will use one time!! And last but not least the candy, enough to make the display visual appealing and with no vendor discount. Additionally, the time to go to the store to find the right containers. purchase your candy and treats, practicing your display. Plus you are responsible for transporting all the supplies to the event site, set-up, tear-down, refill the displays when needed. Pack up the left over candy for the event hosts,. etc....WHEW, that is a lot to do.

What if I just want cupcakes or cake pops for my event?

We can do that! If you would like to add to your Candy Buffet, we can supply Cupcakes, Pushpops, Popcorn, Sugar Cookies, Mini Donuts or Cake Pops for your event, contact us! They make excellent (and delicious) place settings, favors, thank you gifts, etc.

I want Adrienne Bowen Events to create my Candy Buffet, now what?

Easy as 123, contact us via our contact form or by telephone to set up an appointment or for any questions you have. We will work with you to personally design the candy buffet of your dreams and imagination. Then, we will email you an agreement specific to your event. A signed agreement along with a 50% deposit will reserve your date. Next, mark your calendar for a Sweet Treat! Your final payment will be due 10 business days prior to the event.

What happens on the day of the event?

The day of the event we will arrive two hours prior to the event to set-up the display, then watch in amazement as your guests get their first look at your candy buffet!!! At the end of the event we will pack up and clean up while you relax. All left over candy will be packaged and given to the event host.

Do I still need to give out favors - Can I consider this my favor to my guest?

Absolutely! Not only will your guests enjoy selecting their favorite candy, they will have the opportunity to further mix and mingle with each other. They can enjoy some at the party, and then take some home for later. A perfect combination. With the traditional favors you could end up with a lot of favors to take back home with you once your event is over. With a Candy Buffet, we can almost guarantee there will be little to none left for you to take back home with you!

Request a quote, return your signed agreement along w/ your 50% deposit & mark your calendar for a sweet event, leave the rest to us!

(Balances and final payments are due 10 business days prior to your event date)
